Can you do Accupressure Points to induce labor?

I have been doing some reading on inferences consonant and I fell on pressure points. Has anyone tried this and how successful it is? I had contractions for two days dead and buried!
I heard that there are points in your ankles and also in the webbing between the thumb and mingle first. However, if your body is not ready to come into work, so it will not help much other then a few contractions and decreasing again.
