Is it safe to use acupressure to induce labor?

I am 38 weeks and dialated to 2 fertile and thinned by 50 percent. I used acupressure to induce labor with my first son, a little after 39 weeks. I just wondered if you plan it would be safe to induce at 38 weeks or if I have to wait a little longer?
